Blue Ghosts are very special and rare fireflies in the Southern Appalachian mountains; I am lucky to have them at my home in the forest and look forward to their glowing display every spring!
To me, cyanotype printing presents a different sort of blue ghost - it immortalizes the memories of ephemeral plants and bugs by capturing their shadows in the sun.
